Do I need an appointment?
No appointment needed. Just pull up during business hours and we'll take it from there.
How do I get paid?
Cash paid on the spot at the window once your load is weighed.
What do I need to bring?
A valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID) is required by state law for all transactions.
Do I need to sort my metals?
Sorting isn't required — our staff will assist with unloading and sorting — but separating different types of metals may help you get better prices for each material.
What about trash or non-metal items?
Please remove any non-metal items, garbage, or hazardous materials from your scrap before you come in.
How are prices determined?
Prices change daily based on the metal markets. Call for today's confirmed rates before you head out.
Do you beat competitor prices?
Better price? We'll beat it. We beat competitor prices on qualifying metals — bring us a competitor's quote and we'll do our best to beat it. Excludes scrap iron and steel.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes — we do pickups for commercial customers and qualifying loads. Use our Schedule Pickup page to request one.
Do you buy cars?
We can take whole vehicles, but call first. You'll need a title and photo ID, and other acceptance requirements may apply. Contact Cash for Cans before bringing one in.
Do you buy catalytic converters?
We are not accepting catalytic converters at this time.
Do you buy refrigerators and AC units?
Call first. Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners contain refrigerant that must be professionally recovered and certified before drop-off. Please contact us before bringing them in.
Do you buy aluminum cans?
Yes! Empty the cans first — bags or barrels are fine, no need to crush or clean them.
Do you buy copper wire with the insulation still on it?
Yes. Bring insulated copper wire as-is — no need to strip it. Keep bare bright copper separate from insulated wire, and never burn the insulation off (burnt wire grades lower).
Can I bring appliances?
Yes. We accept washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves/ovens, water heaters, and microwaves (drain fluids first). Refrigerators and freezers are call-first because of refrigerant.
What items don't you accept?
Catalytic converters are not accepted at this time. Several other items — refrigerators, AC units, TVs, laptops, paint cans, and whole vehicles — are call-first rather than outright declines. When in doubt, call us and we'll let you know.
Can businesses open a commercial recycling account?
Yes. Businesses with recurring scrap can set up ongoing service — submit a pickup request on our Schedule Pickup page or give us a call to get started.
